Code Yellow

The whiskey flows, the truths come out, and the rain won’t stop.

What do you get when you put four women, a steam cleaner, and a stolen idea together? Answer: total chaos and egos soaked to the bone!

“Code Yellow” is a comedy that asks the question: Can the women’s revolution happen without someone having to clean up afterward?

Niki, a talented young architect on the verge of completing her first solo project, is getting ready for an important dinner with her boss. But instead, her neighbor Emma shows up at her door—armed with feminist slogans and the unsettling ability to turn every conversation into a lecture on patriarchy. While Niki tries to get her to leave, her boss cancels the meeting under the pretext of having a “stomachache.”

After three glasses of whiskey and a slew of conspiracy theories, Niki and Emma sneak into the architecture firm to look for “clues.” But they aren’t the only ones with that idea. There they find Adriana—the boss’s elegant wife—who’s looking for a slightly different kind of dirt on her husband!

As the rain pours down harder and harder, flooding the basements, the tension in the office mounts, and the evening turns into a comical confrontation when the cleaning lady, Blagovesta, joins the group.

The four women find themselves just as entangled with the boss as they never could have imagined.

And so, four women, each completely different from the other, armed with a bottle of whiskey and a steam cleaner, embark on a night filled with comical situations, in which, driven by their feminist rebellion, they organize a fun and chaotic plan for revenge.

Their plan: to destroy the patriarchy, expose corruption, save the project, and do all of this without a single one of them ruining her hairstyle!

“Code Yellow” is a funny and awkward story about how, even with the best of intentions, the attempt to fight the system often ends in a paradoxical situation: four women cleaning! (Because, as Blagovesta wisely notes, “This revolution makes me a little sick.”)
