The story of Hansel and Gretel is well known to everyone, and you’ll see it exactly as the Brothers Grimm told it:
and the pebbles
and the breadcrumbs
and how Hansel scatters them along the path in the forest
and how a bird pecks them away
and the wonderful gingerbread house
and how Gretel pushes the Witch into the oven
But if, like us, you’re wondering: “ ‘How is it possible that a mother, out of necessity, abandons her children in the forest?’” then come see our show, and we’ll offer you one possible answer.
