Ivo Dimchev (1976) is a choreographer, dancer, director, performer, singer. His work is an extreme and colourful mixture of performance, dance, theatre, music and photography. He is the author of more than 30 performances and has been awarded numerous international dance and theatre prizes in Europe, the Americas and Asia. Alongside his work on stage, Ivo Dimchev teaches at six European art academies. He is the founder of the Humarts Foundation in Bulgaria, which organizes a national competition for contemporary choreography. In 2014, the artist opened the independent space for contemporary art and music MOZEI in Sofia.
