BGTSC presents ORATNITZA, who will surprise music lovers with a different concert within this year’s SOFIA SUMMER FEST! The special evening will take place on September 15 at 7:00 pm on the outdoor stage behind the For the Earth and Man Museum.
ORATNITZA are six native musicians who share a love of folk and contemporary bass genres. That’s why they call their unique style “ETHNOBASS”.
Since their inception, the musicians have been driven by a curiosity to find out what lies beyond the musical status quo. It led them on a wild journey through Bulgarian folklore, and over the years their repertoire has taken on the colours and flavour of the depths of native, and that of music from continents far away.
ORATNITZA’s music is a blend of Bulgarian folk melodies, orthodox singing, elements of world music, hip-hop, dubstep, trap, D’n’B and irregular rhythms.
Oratnitsa interprets Bulgarian folk songs in a way that everyone enjoys.
The group has three albums, numerous performances at home and abroad. They have been awarded for their music several times.
Tickets for the concert are on sale online and in the Eventim network (www.eventim.bg) and their partners – Orange bookstores, Office 1 Superstore, OMV, Bulgarian Post, Technopolis and others across the country.
Until 20 July, the price will be promotional – 20 BGN, then and until the day of the concert 25.
