“The Fox and the Tomcats” is a musical project by Militsa Gladnishka, Nikolay Vodenicharov (Niketsa), and Ivan Velchev.
Three troubadours, dreamers, and book lovers. The album “Songs Based on Great Novels” was born from the union of their talents.
For two years now, they’ve been touring Bulgaria and telling their stories.
The show is guaranteed to be a blast! Filled with plenty of genuine humor and cheeky banter—typical of Militsa’s style!
Niketsa’s rock-star voice and guitar roar from the stage, while Ivan Velchev gets the audience’s hearts pumping with his drums.
Together, the three of them engage the audience and take them on an emotional rollercoaster. At the concerts, you’ll hear familiar hits, bold arrangements of timeless classics, and completely unknown songs about well-known characters from books. The band puts on a show unlike anything seen before in Bulgaria, as it blends jazz, rock, pop, mysticism, alternative music, and even pop-folk. To give you a break from the intense emotions of Stephen King’s novels or Homer’s Odyssey, the concert also features a mini stand-up comedy segment!
The band already has two music videos for two of their songs based on novels! “Hello, Dead Man,” which is a love song despite its “playful” title, and “Devil Sent Me”—an absolute rock hit!
