“Urban Legends” a comedy based on a fictional story
Every night, when the city falls asleep, the traffic lights stop working, huge neon signs turn into suns, and fat cats stroll across the rooftops—that’s when many people begin to dream in their solitude. They don’t just dream of having it all—they imagine it as if they already have it: “Man, if I had everything in this world, I’d live like a king!” says some daydreamer, sitting on his couch on the 12th floor, with 14 unpaid bills. In our fantasies, we’re always on top of the world, and the world adores us—we have money, cars, yachts, power, seas, oceans, our own train, a house with fountains—but then the alarm clock rings and you realize you’re not the king of the universe, but just a guy on the 12th floor. And when your dreams don’t come true, you gradually start doing things in your life that turn into a crime report or an urban legend. Still, the most important thing is to dream—at least that’s free.
