SOFIA SUMMER FEST IS GETTING READY FOR ITS SEVENTH EDITION
Sofia Summer Fest – Sofia’s summer festival will hold its seventh edition this summer between July 22 and September 13 at its familiar location in South Park II behind the “Earth and People” Museum. “We all know how important the first seven are. We are happy to be growing alongside our audience, and the past years would not have been possible without them. We look forward to welcoming them again this summer so we can continue to grow,” the organizers share.
This year, the festival will once again be opened by the legendary Vasil Naydenov, who traditionally kicks off Sofia’s summer festival. In addition, in July, Kerana will celebrate her birthday alongside “The Cosmonauts,” and there will be a screening of “In Hell with Ivo” accompanied by a concert by Ivo Dimchev.
As every year, Sofia Summer Fest pays special attention to its youngest audience members. Every weekend there will be a children’s puppet theater at 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., as well as films from the “Festival of Contemporary Bulgarian and European Children’s and Youth Cinema,” which will be screened starting at 4:00 p.m., with the support of the National Film Center.
